NEWBIE FAQs
If you’ve taken our Intro class and are ready for more, here are the next steps we recommend to build your skills and gain more on-court experience.
BEGINNER SKILLS & DRILLS
Designed for newer players looking to build confidence and consistency on the court. Players will work on key fundamentals such as serves, returns, dinks, volleys, court positioning, and basic strategy through guided drills and gameplay.
BEGINNER GUIDED PLAY
Like open play, but with a smaller group and an instructor present to provide real-time feedback. You’ll be playing games that closely simulate an open play environment, making this the perfect next step after Intro to Pickleball. It helps you reinforce what you’ve learned and build confidence before diving into full open play sessions. You can attend as many of these sessions as you like!
BEGINNER OPEN PLAY
Join fellow beginners and advanced beginners in a welcoming, social setting to build confidence and connection. Put your skills to the test, gain court experience, and sharpen your game through continuous play. Player rotations keep the action moving for a perfect mix of fun, learning, and community. See the Open Play tab for full details.
